I will really be sad if you won’t be available to photograph our Wedding“, Margie wrote on Facebook. I was just about to finish that day’s work (yes I have a day job) when she chatted to ask about our services. I still consider myself as a newbie in the wedding industry, and I still believe an inquiry itself is already a compliment so reading those lines from a client made my heart melt. Thank You Margie for trusting us :)

Because I’m still a newbie, our first meeting didn’t start off well too! So I’m writing this down to remind myself to be more in control during meetings. Sandy will be calling my attention after this so shhhhhhh… We ended up drinking iced tea at Brownie’s Unlimited because both of us had something to eat just before the meeting. I’m lucky to have clients who understand about my inexperience. I promise to be better the next time. Yay!

At the last minute they told me the preparations will be the the new Mandarin Plaza, which had delicious chandeliers. I wish I could take them home. Their ceremony was held at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. Margie told me their family will be flying over from different parts of the country so they picked the cathedral despite the very intimate number of guests that they had.

From the speeches of their loved ones during the reception at the Parklane Hotel, I can tell that this was a moment everyone was waiting for, even for the couple themselves. I again fought mini-tears, seeing Margie & her Mom embrace each other tightly during the couple’s first dance. It is moments like this when I feel so blessed to be doing what I do. To be able to freeze memories, moments & emotions is unlike any other feeling in the world.

Margie, Anthony & Austyna, Thank You so much for making me & Sandy witness a very beautiful part of your story. We are forever grateful…

Barbie shoe’s for Austyna :)

Ohhh, how did this get here??? That’s me at work. Shot by my favorite Photographer.

This is exactly why I love Andy Sinadjan‘s work. Apart from being schoolmates in college, she just brings out the best in every bride…

Mother & Daughter chat :)

Didn’t I say delicious chandeliers?

It’s always a blast working with Sandy. She makes everything easier for me…

See those guys in the background, that’s actually another set of entourage for another wedding. Shot by one of my newest buddies, Burtz or Blinkbox. Bai/Burtz, it was nice to finally talk to you in person. See you around :)

I declare September 14 as Chandelier Day!

Just beautiful!

Teee Heee :P

After the ceremonies we drove to Camp Marina to shoot some more wedding portraits :) The light was really pretty!
