No, I will not be blogging about how Kerwin met April or how their Love Story unfolded. Hahaha. I actually just came from a long walk around the Greenbelt Area. I just felt like I needed one and didn’t think twice. After all, who wouldn’t be bribed by the idea of Jollibee Pancakes & a warm Hot Choco after the walk? Hmmm!
Some few weeks ago, a good friend, Stephen, told me and I quote, “just give it all to faith and faith will come back to you in hundred folds”. It’s funny how things, thoughts & basically everything change faster than you can blink. There I was trying to comprehend such a simple phrase a few weeks ago and ended up empty handed.
Towards my way back to the hotel, I came across an old man walking around the area, I smiled at his direction. I thought he hesitated but after a split second he returned the smile. Forgive me for being emotional but I was a little teary eyed just seeing him smile back at me and then I realised how simple Stephen’s words were… If You believe, in good faith, that everything’s going to be alright then EVERYTHING will definitely be ALRIGHT!
Just a few days ago I was lost. It was like I was stripped down right unto the core with barely nothing else to hold on to. I am still blessed. Family & friends, reached out their hands for me and helped me pick up what was barely left. I am still the Luckiest and no this is not my second try. I’ve been here before but failed to learn what I needed to. This time, I will give FAITH a try! And I know the journey will be a struggle but I would like to believe it is instead a BEAUTIFUL STRUGGLE!
The same goes for Kerwin & April who will be tying the knot tomorrow. I believe they gave LOVE and LOVE is exactly what they got back in return. I feel so humbled to be given a chance to document Love Stories and from here on more privileged to be learning more about Hope, Faith & Love.
I hope that these recent realisations find their way into our Photographs someday soon because nothing feels more beautiful than TRUE LOVE!
