Last night, Lyn sent me an SMS thanking me for spending my time with them and being part of the first step of their journey together. Inside, I feel quite the contrary, it should be me thanking you Jem & Lyn for allowing me to do what I do. It is a privilege I will always be grateful for.

My emotions caught up with me while taking the photographs of their civil wedding yesterday. I stepped in, did what I needed to, and then they exchanged vows and it hit me. It was an ordinary place, we were in a make shift tent, under a star apple tree in a scorching humid December afternoon and here was a voice saying it could not get any better than this.
