Jed’s Baptism

 
My step-father would jokingly tell me that a photographer’s job covers…
 
“from the Womb to the Tomb.”
 
And we would burst in laughter.
 
But now, I realise that as funny as it sounds, it is true.
 
As a storyteller, we often get invited into the lives of the people we shoot.
 
To be able to tell their stories in a way that is most familiar to us.
 
I shot Jem and Lyn’s wedding exactly a year before I also took photos of their first born, Jed, baptised into the Christian Faith.
 
And it makes me especially happy that they’ve picked me to tell their story.
