Mid-August, I found myself taking the night ferry to Dumaguete City
JP and Joselle picked me up from the port the next day and the first thing we did?
Drove to the market to get sticky-rice and hot chocolate, a Dumaguete thing!
I purposely arrived a day before they renew their vows

After a bit of rest, we drove to Bindoy, Joselle’s home town where the ceremony would take place.

Joselle’s mama prepared lunch which was really, really awesome.

It was the first time I saw a Rambutan hanging from a tree.

On the next day, we drove back to Bindoy early to help setup the place. I took photos of course.

I’m not sure where these were plucked but they looked nice.

We kept going back and fourth whether to go on with an outdoor setup because it was raining the past few days. In the end we followed our guts and it paid off.

Joselle made this herself.

With JP’s help too of course!

Hello Glen “Double Booking” Diputado.

Friends from China and other places came to celebrate.

Make-up session started really late but that’s I really didn’t worry about all that.

I only intended to take pictures as they really are. No fuss. No anything.

I almost missed this. Luckily Joselle called me. Hahaha.

There she is!

And a picture of her and JP before they walk down the aisle.

We were under the mango trees which was also the final resting place of Joselle’s grandparents.

Folks, young and old, joined the celebration.

Joselle’s parents, just like here, were also quite hands on during the preparations.

Some friends.

I’ve had a few hands help me taking pictures, you know?

It was a little gloomy but luckily, rain never fell.

Hello Joselle. You were telling JP?

These two sharing a light moment while exchanging rings.

And a kiss!

Which made this little one turn away.

And had the gown-ups laughing.

I thought I took this one neatly. That’s just me, anyway.

After the ceremony, we had a little but of time taking portraits.

Joselle decorated the trellis one herself.

The hanging flowers together with those little firefly lights looked really nice.

It’s like the lights are smiling too!

Bokeh!

Little details from the reception.

Dinner time.

I think the cake tasted funny!

I wonder where’d Joselle go. Everybody’s so happy here.
