I remember receiving an email from John early this year
He was asking if I was available to shoot his wedding
But I never actually saw him until a few weeks before his wedding last August
So I’m really glad he asked me to be around

Sometimes I think why I’ve become a wedding photographer you know?
But I guess I have a lifetime to connect all the dots

Anyway, back to the wedding

John and Joanna’s day started at the Padgett Place in Cebu City.

Since these two were into wedding photography and planning, most of the details are DIY.

I remember Joanna begged for me not to take pictures here so I told here, that’s what she is paying me for. Hahahaha.

The details are still.

While the boys are letting love win ( #lovewins ), the ladies are having a great time.

John’s wedding effects.

Uncle John’s nephews and nieces in full support.

We walked around the area for some portraits.

I learned that day that John is one half of Prints of June, who also does wedding photography.

Mama love.

Mama love part 2.

I love this wall at the Padgett Place you know?

Hello Joanna!

It was my first time shooting at The Lady of Lourdes Parish in Punta Princesa

John couldn’t contain his emotions as soon as he saw Joanna.

These are the moments, you know?

The priests who celebrated their wedding used to be their classmates and some are teachers, perhaps.

I thought the sight of John’s Mama and Papa holding hands was beautiful.

Stained glass from the parish ceiling.

Hello fathers! What’s up? Hahahaha.

I posted this photo in Instagram a few weeks back. I thought it was a lovely sight. A mother really proud of what his son has become after all these years. Most of the time a hug, such as this, is better than words.

A quick photo with the bestman and maid of honor.

And of John and Joanna before the party kicked off.

We passed by 711 first for some drinks.

Everybody greeted these two a Happy Wedding.

We got Mules. One for John, one for Joanna and one for Me for.

Double date.

Details by the bride’s friends.

These two marched to the reception to the tune of “you to me are everything, the sweetest song that I can sing, ohh baby…”

And everybody sang with them in unison. Including, but not limited to, yours truly!

Oh yeah, I know how to play with the camera too. Sometimes.
