September and October brought me to a few places
And while the desert sands in Dubai make you feel all sorts of wonderful
Places close to home doesn’t come short of letting you feel all those things as well
So when Che, asked me to come and celebrate their 10th year anniversary
Up at Kandaya in Daanbantayan, I knew I had no choice to come with them

It was my second time there but my first time staying over.

We left around lunchtime and arrived just in time for the sunset.

Of course I roamed around ahead and this little lady followed after a while.

She’s happy in Papa’s arms!

The sea wasn’t really that inviting if swimming is your thing, but a walk in the beach during the afternoons is nothing sort of cool.

Oh, hey Bianche! I met her last year when she turned 4.

Kids always loved being carried around, right?

Sea shells, sea shells by the sea shore.

Kandaya have this huge swing sets. I could sleep there if not for the fear of goats. I meant ghosts!

A sight to behold.

Morning woke me up with this view too!

While Che prepared the things, Bianche and Mico enjoyed the pool under the sun.

She’s a smart one, I can tell.

She and Mico had a great time. Even it that was scorching hot.

It was one of those days where you don’t feel like you are working at all.

These are all Bianche’s :)

That’s a little girl who’s having the time of her life.

It could not get any better than this.

We didn’t bring a cake from the city but had one baked at Kandaya.

Che took care of everybody. Including me and Chris. She made sure we had all the food we can eat.

When the sun was about to set and it was cooler, we headed down to the beach front.

Here’s a shady picture!

Kandaya was absolutely nice. It didn’t warm up to me the first time I went there. But this time, everything was right about the place. Except our bathroom door knob. I’ll leave that to your imagination.

Just about the right time to start.

Here we go.

It was just us, actually. Pastor, Mico, Che, Bianche, myself and Chris.

This little lady played the role of ring bearer. She loved every bit of it.

I stepped a way a little bit.

It’s Mom and Bianche’s time.

Kids always don’t like seeing their Mom and Dad kiss. Is that right?

And we are done.

I love how Bianche’s hair looks like it’s going upwards here.

I really have this thing with flying hair, you know?

Forward to forever.

One of my favorites of that day.

And finally, the sun bid goodbye

Kandaya lit of at night, and to me it looks really wonderful!

When dinner was over, I remember borrowing the bands guitar and playing these guys a couple of songs. I should be a wedding singer too, you know?

On our last day, we wore our wedding clothes again and went home to Cebu City. Thank You Mico, Che and Bianche for everything.
