These past few days might have been the longest I’ve been away from home
Since the 12-Day Dubai trip I took towards the end of last year
What I intended to be a leisurely trip just around Bonifacio Global City
Instantly became a weekend getaway to Anawangin Cove in Zambales

It ended with an overnight stay at my good friends in Quezon City
And as soon as I got back here in Cebu, I opened my laptop
Downloaded the pictures from my phone

My flight was scheduled at 7 in the evening but I arrived at the airport around 4PM. I just stayed and worked at Starbucks.

I took this as soon as I set foot in Manila and saw the lights from Terminal 3 from afar.

Air Asia flights arrive at Terminal 4

Soon to open!

On the second night, a good friend and I went to enjoy a drink towards the sunset at SEDA.

In the morning we had pastry and coffee at Little Flour.

They had a cool interior with all of these chairs hanged from above.

On the second day I walked towards SM Aura and saw this cool wall.

This milk tea has had quite a que since January. It was the same until now.

The next day we woke up at 3:30AM and headed out to Zambales.

The morning drive was glorious!

We arrived at Subic between 6-7AM. The last time I was here was way back in 2012.

Very quiet place.

We stopped for coffee at Holy Ground. No cussing please :)

Zambales finally.

Capones just up ahead.

We took a boat to Capones and stayed there a while before we headed out to Anawangin.

The sand wasn’t the usual white but the water’s really clear. It was great!

Anawangin as I imagined. But actually there was a flood of people. I didn’t like it.

The place was really nice but I didn’t like the crowd.

Towards the sunset, I took a few pictures of Florianne and Jeherson.

They taught me the Ukelele.

And like most people who take me with them for pictures, they didn’t want posed pictures.

Ealli joined in.

The morning after!

On the way home, Florianne allowed me to drive. It was a blast!

I then headed of to QC to meet my good friends at Congressional.

They made me pancakes.

For Tito Jeff.

Pancakes with sprinkles.

These 3 asked me to make them hammocks! Hahaha.

Hello Rica!

I arrived at the airport just in time for my flight.

And after a few days, I’m back in Cebu.

I passed by Starbucks to write this too.
