One of the first posts that I read as soon as I woke up earlier was something from Joy. Today was supposed to be her wedding. She wrote about the excitement while preparing for this day which included our trip to Seoul for these pictures and how friends and family would have been gathered in Maasin by now to celebrate her union to Presidenson. Her grief can’t be denied but I also noticed hints of hope for the days up ahead.
Joy and Tas are just two of the few people whose wedding date unfortunately fell during these quarantine period and like most, they had to postpone. I’m sure there are more important concerns but this is also valid one. After all, a handful of us dream to be married. Too bad, we really need to park those dreams for now and make sure we survive this ordeal.
I also don’t know when this will get better and a few worries here and there set in on some days. Perhaps we can agree that we’re better than those worries, shall we? And with a pinch of hope and a little bit of faith, our collective prayers about overcoming what is happening will be answered in time. Until then, let’s take care of each other better, ok?
With barely enough sleep, we headed out for pictures.
However, this place was closed.
So we improvised.
And made do with what was given to us.
The sun was above our heads but it was already cold in Seoul as winter was approaching.
I liked that flowers bloomed everywhere.
These two were shy at first.
But we managed to put together so many pictures.
Despite lack of sleep.
I had no expectations of Seoul
But I found it charming.
We passed by an artsy place.
Where we took a few more pictures.
This building was interesting
I used it as props too.
It looks like something that fame from outer space.
It was cool.
We continued walking.
Here they are again.
But before that, we grabbed a latte at Blue Bottle.
I found so many places with nice lighting.
And this spot too!
Perhaps another visit someday.
The houses lined up in this area were pretty cool too.
I could shoot here all day long.
I forgot the name of this place.
Quaint little shops and building surround the area.
And trees were growing everywhere.
Our last place to visit.
I was told famous people go here for pictures.
The sun was already about to set.
Still we squeezed out a few.
These flowers sprouted from the ground.
And those tall grasses were just really picturesque
I’m glad these two took their chances on me
They were supposed to be married today.
But the universe had other plans. Like always, we just got to have a little bit of faith that everything will be alright. Thank You Joy and Tasyo!
