Remembering Dubai – SALT AND BLEACH

These days feel like lines from Sunscreen, you know?
“Don’t worry about the future
Or worry, but know that worrying
Is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation
by chewing Bubble gum
The real troubles in your life
Are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind
The kind that blindsides you at 4 p.m. on some idle Tuesday”

Oh yeah. These were taken during my last trip to Dubai back
in 2018. Seven and Pach turned 5 years married around that
time and brought me along with them to the desert.

Good Night Everybody.

This feels like a long, long time ago.

I think we had over a thousand pictures from this trip.

We should have rented 2 boats.

One for them and another one for me.

It’s also been a while since I took pictures of them.

We were supposed to head to Shanghai last year.

But the rest, as they say, is history.

Still, this was one for the books.

On their first night, they stayed in Burj Al-Arab. I rolled over in the toilet.

But I didn’t tell them of course.

It was a warm Dubai during this trip.

Nevertheless

A 9-hour flight is still amazing. Thank You Seven and Pachille.
