Venn & Golda’s Wedding

This year, I’ve been asked to shoot from behind the scenes
a couple of times which is something that I terribly don’t
mind considering I always shoot as casually as I can.
I don’t know, perhaps everything you see on online
looks a little more the same, you know?

I was actually happy Venn & Golda still asked me to come
with a camera despite already having a primary photographer.
We met just before the pandemic and kept in touch, most likely
because Venn & I share the same love for sneakers. Haha.

Thank You Venn & Golda. I will see you again soon!

It’s always just goofing around with the boys.

He woke up when the reception was over :D

I had the time to run around because someone else was in charge.

Venn was “a little” emotional seeing Golda walk towards him.

There were technical problems but nobody cared.

Another Afternoon at Plantation Bay

Kharynne happened to be friends with a few families
I’ve shot in Mactan late last year.
It was, however, Ryan, who asked messaged me to ask
if I was free to take pictures when they come home to Cebu.

I couldn’t refuse of course.
With Mactan shoots becoming a little convenient because
of the CCLEX, who could say no to an Afternoon at the Plantation Bay?

It took me just around 30 minutes to drive from Guadalupe to
Marigondon so I stopped for a bit and took a quick nap
before heading out to the resort just before sunset to
take these.

We started of with some getting to know each other by the entrance.

It was late afternoon but warm nonetheless.

Trips to Plantation Bay are easier because of the CCLEX.

We roamed around the usual Plantation Bay Route.

This year has been a little quiet for me but I’m getting used to the slow pace.

As soon as she got her feet wet, she didn’t want to get it off the water.

It was lovely getting to know the three of you!

A Morning Session at Crimson

Last month, I had the privilege to shoot familiar faces yet again
These bunch I’ve known from back in 2014, imagine that!
It was one of those times that everyone was gathered
So it only made sense to take family photos

We agreed for a morning shoot but as always
With kids and things, an early morning shoot
doesn’t always happen early
Still, Thank You Juna, Emps, Joy, Tasyo & Family!

The first people from this family that I got to know.

This sister whose wedding I did not get to shoot.

At least for Joy & Tasyo I flew to Korea.

Besides Juna, these pair has so many pictures on my archives.

Rex and Cherie

This weekend was a back breaker pretty much like the last.
The return trips to Cordova was tiring, despite the beautiful
sunrise that greets you pretty much every time you leave
the city that early.

Which reminded me of these pictures of Rex and Cherie a month
back, I think. When they picked me up at around 4:30AM in
the morning and we drove all the way to Il Corso.

We had the sunrise to guide us, you know?

And some patches of water for reflections.

The jetty was pretty much destroyed but still good for pictures.

When it was already warm, we decided to head downtown.

Sometimes I find myself in challenging situations.

But I always try to not let it bother me.

And when you realize that, you’ll notice everything else is just noise :)

Vince & Jane’s Wedding

I was both a guest & a photographer when Vince married Jane.
We kind of knew each other for almost a decade now, you
can technically call me their unofficial family photographer.
I knew early on, however, that I wasn’t cut out to
shoot this wedding but I’m terribly happy they picked
the other Jeff from Rock Paper Scissors to do it.

This is one lengthy post because there are so many pictures
between me & this family which meant I had to search the archives
for some pictures just to tell the story.
